The purpose of this request for proposal is to solicit offers from qualified Bidders to provide fire protection repair services throughout the District. Bidding contractors will be responsible for providing fire sprinkler repairs designed to maximize performance, safety, and life span of the District's fire protection systems for the District's locations referenced below and any other facilities as requested by authorized District personnel. The following inspections are performed on the District systems quarterly and annually. Some of the repairs the Contractor(s) will perform are based on the findings from these inspections. Pursuant To California Civil Code Section 1633, The Parties Hereto Agree That This Solicitation Submission May Be Electronically Signed And Submitted And The Electronic Signature Appearing In This Response To The Solicitation Is The Same As Handwritten Signatures For The Purposes Of Validity, Enforceability, And Admissibility. The District is seeking bids for the repair of fire protection sprinklers, and for the inventory and flow testing of fire hydrants. See Appendix A, Specifications, for full description of requirements. b. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm c. Contractor shall contact the head custodian to schedule work 24 hours prior to the service. See Appendix A, Head Custodians, for contact information
