Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eastvale, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; two-story above grade library; library; three-story above grade municipal facility; municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Project consists of a new Civic Center for the City of Eastvale, California consisting of a 2-story Public Library, 3-story City Hall and a 2-story Police Station with 1 level of below grade secured parking. The north west of the site will be occupied by a Public Park which includes an Amphitheater. Buildings (Library, City Hall and Police Station) will have an automatic sprinkler system, fire alarm and smoke detection system. An ERRC System is required at the Police Station. The Work includes architectural, structural, site improvements, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical and landscape scope of work as indicated on Drawings. The Project is designed to comply with the U.S. Green Building Council's "Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System" certification level as specified Sustainable Design Requirements - LEED v4 BD+C. Owner will receive bids only from Clark Construction Group, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., PCL Construction Services, Inc., and Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, each of whom prequalified to bid on the project. This project includes construction of secure facilities. Accordingly, Bidders and subcontractors will need to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) in a form acceptable to the City to view the complete bid set.
