**As of July 02, 2025 This project has been awarded to Towo Enterprise Inc. & CT&T Concrete Paving Inc., with the awarded amount of $51,981.** Concrete Maintenance, Repair and Installation Services The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Furnish all equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and all other items necessary to perform the repair and/or replacement of sidewalks, curbs and gutters, drive approaches, cross gutters, spandrels, ADA ramps, other related concrete work, and other items not mentioned here, but required by the IFB documents. Questions Due: May 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM Bidders must possess a valid California Class A or Class C-8 Contractor s License at the time bids are opened and to maintain this and all other applicable licenses and certifications required to perform the work specified in the IFB documents. Contractor shall submit current copies of all applicable licenses and certifications to the City at time of bid submittal and be responsible for maintaining current copies on file if awarded a Contract. A Bid Bond is required for this bid. The value of the Bid Bond shall be 10% of the bid amount. The Bid Bond upon a form provided by bidders surety company or a certified check payable to the City of Eastvale and drawn on a solvent bank of the United States of America, is required with the bid. Please download the IFB documents in accordance with instructions listed below. Additional Bond requirements and instructions related to Bonds are included in the IFB documents. The City of Eastvale (City) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide concrete maintenance, repair and installation services on an on-call basis. The work related to repairs includes, but is not limited to: the repair and/or replacement of sidewalks, curbs and gutters, drive approaches, cross gutters, spandrels, ADA ramps, and other related concrete work. All work shall be performed in conformance with the latest edition of the City of Eastvale's policies and procedures, and the Riverside County Standard Plans and Specifications. The successful contractor shall maintain a valid Class A or Class C-8 license throughout the term of the agreement and shall comply with the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Temporary Traffic Control Zones when performing work within the City. All contractors and subcontractors shall carry full insurance coverage, with the City named as an additional insured, as appropriate. The following description is intended to outline the general duties of the on-call maintenance contractor for concrete and asphalt materials within the City of Eastvale. This list is not inclusive. If the Contractor believes additional tasks are warranted, such tasks must be clearly identified in the proposal as an "Add Alternate" for the City's review and consideration. A. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for the City in accordance with State and Federal Law, in accordance with public safety. B. Staff the on-call concrete maintenance function as needed to achieve the desired results. C. Maintain a safety program for all staffing compliance with all State and Federal laws. D. Comply with all State and Federal requirements regarding alternative action and provisions for minority hiring. E. Provide all necessary personnel, instruments, traffic control, equipment, and materials to perform the services described in this IFB. F. Perform the services with the degree of skill and diligence normally employed by operations and maintenance personnel performing the same or similar services. G. Maintain a comprehensive list of work sites in Microsoft Excel; provide the City reports and/or copies as requested. H. Upon receiving work locations, verify the location and quantity of work from the Work Order, and advise the City of any adjacent or nearby work. I. Submit alternative construction techniques or improvements to proposed work and/or plans as necessary, or as requested. J. Ensure all subcontractors are licensed and bonded in the specialty for which they are contracted. K. Ensure all contractors and subcontractors carry full insurance with the City named as an additional insured as appropriate. L. For the purposes of preparing bids based on the estimated quantities in Attachment B, quantities shall be aggregated by "Location." A "Location" is defined as one or more designated work sites that are within a one (1) mile radius of each other or otherwise grouped to allow for a single mobilization. Multiple work areas identified in the same Work Order shall be treated as part of the same location if they meet this proximity criterion
