Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking a Contractor to provide a bid for demolition, removal, and replacement of drain, waste line pipes in the crawlspace and all vertical and horizontal DWV coming from each unit as described herein. Anticipated Period of Performance - Begin thru End: Project must be completed no later than June 1, 2026 with final billing by June 15, 2026. All pipe and fitting replacements shall switch from Cast Iron or Copper to ABS piping. This project is at AHFC's housing facility known as Golden Towers; Located at 330 Third Avenue Fairbanks, AK. BASE BID: The waste line system is composed of 2", 3", and 4", pipes. This facility has approximately 140' of two inch pipe, 230' of three inch pipe, and 300' of four inch cast iron pipe in the crawl space. Other verticle and lateral pipes lengths and sizes vary. Awarded contractor to verify quantities. Contractor to verify all measurements for successful bid. Dry vent portion may not need to be replaced but can be if assessed by awarded contractor and deemed necessary. This can be added to the existing contract via Change order process.
