Little Rock Port Authority - Railroad Crossing Surface Improvements The project includes the following Work: o Traffic Control o Track Removal. o Track Construction. o Track Panel Removal / Re-installation. o Pavement Removal / placement o Minor Grading Work There is no pre-bid conference for this project. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150, Arkansas Acts of 1965, and Act 162 of 1987, as amended. Each bid must be accompanied by: o An acceptable statement of bidder's qualifications. The requirements of the bidder's statement of qualifications will be furnished to prospective bidders with plans and specifications. o A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to Little Rock Port Authority, 10600 Industrial Harbor Dr., Little Rock, AR 72206, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The Little Rock Port Authority complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statutes and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and U.S. Department of Homeland Security regulation 6 C.F.R. Part 19. Furthermore, the Little Rock Port Authority complies with the City of Little Rock Civil Rights Ordinance. Therefore, the Little Rock Port Authority does not discriminate, in any of its activities, whether federally funded or not, on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, political opinions or affiliation. LRPA will take reasonable measures to provide access to LRPA services to individuals with limited ability to speak, write or understand English and/or to those with disabilities.1 The Little Rock Port Authority will not tolerate intimidation, threats, coercion, or discrimination against any individual or group for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege guaranteed under law or regulations, or because the individual has filed a complaint or has testified, assisted, or participated in any way in an investigation, proceeding, or hearing or has opposed any LRPA action or decision.
