The Town of Norton, through the Select Board, invites proposals from qualified consulting firms for its Lake/Pond Management Program for three water bodies located in Norton, Massachusetts. The-Town of Norton Conservation Commission has the care, custody, and control of three water bodies: Chartley Pond, Norton Reservoir, and Winnecunnet Pond. The purpose of the Program is to focus on maintaining and improving upon target species reductions through chemical controls and hand harvesting. Persons or firms submitting a proposal to perform these services are requested to submit a statement of their qualifications and experience performing similar services for other municipalities. Bidders must bid on all the items. The Select Board is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and/or to waive any informality if it determines said action to be in the best interest of the Town of Norton.
