t is the intent of the City of Kalamazoo to hire a contractor to provide mowing and trimming services in areas based on these specifications. These areas include but are not limited to islands and rights-of-ways. These specifications apply to those items necessary for and incidental to the execution and completion of mowing and trimming services as indicated herein. The contract shall begin on or about January 01, 2025 (or after pending date of approval by the City) and shall be in effect for 1 year through December 31, 2025. The City will have the option to extend the contract for four (4) one (1) year periods. Contract price will remain set for the initial one-year year term with the option to negotiate a mutually agreeable price for each renewal. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and waive informalities and minor irregularities in the quotes received. The City will consider all quotes and make the purchasing decision most advantageous to the City and its interests.
