Work of this Contract is defined in the Contract Documents to include the construction of a new taxilane, approximately1,100 LF long. The scope of the work includes erosion control, pavement removal, asphalt paving, storm sewer pipe installation, earthwork, grading, turf stabilization, and other related work as shown on the drawings and/or in the specifications. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bidder bond on the form obtained in the proposal from a surety company acceptable to Marion County, or a Cashier's Check or Certified Check made payable to Marion County, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bids. A 100% Contract Bond will be required. The Right to Reject Any or All bids and to Waive Technicalities is Reserved. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened.
