Site Inspection Will Be Held on December 3, 2024 as Scheduled: Park Vista High School 7900 Jog Road Lake Worth, Fl 33463 The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites Certified Roofing Contractors prequalified by the School Board pursuant to SREF Chapter 4.1 prior to the Bid Due Date to submit a Bid. To be eligible, the vendor must be prequalified for bonding capacity in the amount of the advertised Construction Budget or evidence bonding capacity in that amount prior to the Bid due date. Established Project Budget for Construction: $61,500.00 DIRECTIONS : I-95 to Hypoluxo and go west to Jog Rd. Turn south (left) on Jog Rd. and go about 1/4 of a mile to Northtree. Turn east (left) on Northtree and this will lead you directly to the main entrance gate. Description: Project is a direct roofing replacement and not a renovation. New roof system shall be a modified bitumen, 2 ply polyester reinforced, with r-20 insulation. Basis of roof system design equal to Soprema. Existing roofing shall be removed down to metal deck. Remove and replace existing flashing, with new stainless-steel min. 26 gage drip edge flashing. Remove and replace all existing flashing, with new approved flashing for use with roofing manufacture. Provide new insulation approved for use with roofing manufacturer. minimum 1-1/2" tapered r-20 polyiso insulation. Provide new gutter and leader to control runoff, to match existing conditions. All roof penetrations, including but not limited to, guardrails, pa equipment, curbing, etc. shall be removed and replaced on new roofing and / or repaired if damaged or new install as required. Repair as required existing steel deck, only at damaged and degraded areas. Remove and replace existing guardrails to existing location, after new roof installation, as required by FBC 1015.6 and OSHA. Provide wind pressure criteria required. Contractor to remove and/or modify chain link fencing, including adding gate(s) as required for site access. Openings in fence shall be secured at the endo of each workday. Fencing to be restored to equal or better condition upon the completion of the work. BID GUARANTEE Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of $3,075.00.
