Renovation of a mixed-use development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.

Sealed bids will be opened for Linnwood and Cameron Window Improvement Project. Project Located at: Linnwood Water Treatment Plant and Cameron Meter Shop Time for Completion: September 1st, 2026 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION October 5th, 2026 FINAL COMPLETION Liquidated Damages, per diem: $ 500.00 PROJECT 1: WP-346 Linnwood Window Improvement Project PROJECT 2: WP-346 Cameron Window Improvement Project The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office in-person or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, within 24 hours upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder. The City of Milwaukee will ONLY receive bids from prospective bidders who are in attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be available at the conclusion of the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting. PAY R O L L M O N I T O R I N G REQUIREMENTS: The Prime Contractor awarded this project is required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's Labor Compliance Reporting (LCR) Software after the date of contract award. Throughout the contract term, Contractors are required to regularly provide timely payroll information via LCR. Please contact the DPW Contracts Office at 414-286-3314 should you have any questions or concerns regarding the training or reporting process. Contractor must comply with all provisions of the CITY OF MILWAUKEE GENERAL A. This contract includes the furnishing of all equipment, labor, supervision, inspection, materials, and appurtenances for and in connection with the repair and rehabilitation of the windows at the Linnwood Water Treatment Plant Laboratory and Administration Areas as shown on contract drawings and further specified herein. B. The work to be performed, which is detailed in the contract specifications and drawings, shall include, but not be limited, to the following: 1. Remove existing windows from the Linnwood Water Treatment Plant Laboratory and Administration Areas as shown on the project plans. 2. Patch any holes or deformations resulting from demolition to match existing conditions. 3. Install new windows as specified on the project plans. 4. Provide any necessary trim to transition from new window unit to existing head, jamb,and sill conditions. 5. Seal entire exterior and interior perimeter of new windows. Questions regarding the Contract Documents must be emailed to both anthony.aquila@milwaukee.gov AND smalexa@milwaukee.gov no later than 3:00 PM Monday, December 8th, 2025. Responses to be posted no later than 3:00 PM Friday, December 12th, 2025. The official envelope for submitting a bid and bid bond form will be available at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting. All attendees are required to e-mail smalexa@milwaukee.gov and Anthony.aquila@milwaukee.gov at least 24 hours in advance of the Pre-Bid Meeting to be placed on the visitor list for access to the Linnwood Water Treatment Plant. A site visit will be available at the conclusion of the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting
