Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The scope of this work will be performed in Labs 151 and 151G within the Aquatic Research Laboratory (ARL) in the 331 Life Sciences Laboratory building, located at 331 Cypress St, Richland WA, to install a large fiberglass tank, an aluminum walkway, and a gantry crane. The tank, gantry crane, and aluminum walkway will be Battelle furnished. 12 small cultural tanks, 8 early rearing troughs, 2 medium culture tanks, 3 tank tables, and 4 half stack incubators will be relocated during this work, and PVC piping will have to be modified/rerouted to the new tank locations. Work will need to be sequenced in 5 different stages to allow for the transferring of fish between different tanks and is summarized in A-3. Prime Contractor shall be pre-qualified prior to submitting bid; likewise, Subcontractors to a Prime Contractor performing work shall be prequalified prior to issuance of NTP.
