Site work for a water / sewer project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involved three ferric chloride storage tanks and requires each tank, one at a time, to be removed from service, drained, old liner removed, bottom cone replaced, and a new liner installed. The tank will then be hydrostatically tested before being placed back into service and moving to the next tank. All work will be overseen be a certied tank installer and proper documentation led with the PADEP for the work on the registered storage tanks. In addition, this project will install new remote ll point spill containment lockers to better contain any drips during the unloading process. This project is included in the Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority’s Capital Improvement Program. As of November 14, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
