The Industrial Development Authority of Tazewell County, Virginia (hereafter, "the IDA") seeks proposals from qualified engineering firms for multi-phase Professional Engineering services to design to completion specifications, final plans, permits, right-of-way or easement acquisition, bid evaluation, contract administration, and other engineering services that may be applicable for a necessary off-site infrastructure natural gas extension to the Bluestone Regional Business and Technology Center (hereafter, "the Bluestone"), which is shown on "Exhibit A", attached hereto. Interested Professional Engineering firms are requested to provide four (4) copies of the following information, all of which is necessary and essential to the response: (1) Professional Engineering Qualifications; (2) Professional Engineering Experience pertaining to Tazewell County, Virginia; (3) Other Professional Engineering Experience; (4) Professional Engineering References; (a) This shall include a list of at least three (3) references on projects with similar scope and complexity within the preceding ten (10) years or currently in progress for which the firm was a contractor; (b) For each reference, the firm shall briefly identify (i) the project name, location, and services provided; (ii) the original and final period of performance; (iii) the original and final contract amount; (iv) the reason for any change orders constituting a change of greater than Five Percent (5.00%) of the original contract amount; (v) staffing level; and (vi) firm's role in the project. Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) utilization goals may apply depending upon project assignments and funding sources to be utilized by the IDA.
