The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise contract goal is 0%. The purpose of this project is to remove the Jackson Municipal Pool kiddie pool and wading area and replace it with a new splash pad. The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award. The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the City of Jackson. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
