Location: - Cape Girardeau County Proposed Improvement: Overlay I-55 from log mile 107.955 to log mile 117.360 in the northbound lanes (approximately 9.405 miles). Both northbound driving and passing lane will receive a 2-inch Superpave mill and fill. The four foot inside shoulder will also receive a 2-inch Superpave mill and fill. The outside shoulder will only receive a fog seal for the length of the project. New guardrail and Type B barrier walls will be installed in various location throughout the project. Curb block outs will be installed and will include cleaning and epoxy coating the curb outlets for Bridge A1225 at log mile 114.351. Length: 9.405 miles DBE Goal (if applicable) 0% Consultant Services Required: Construction Inspection and Material Testing. The Consultant will provide professional, technical, and other personnel, equipment, material, and all other things necessary for field inspection for the asphalt overlay project JSE0073.
