**As of June 9, 2025, the project was awarded to Apex Paving Company, with an awarded amount of $1,394,575.54.** The County has added an optional Asphalt Cement Price Index Adjustment to this bid proposal. The Bidder(s) must indicate on the bid form if they accept or decline the Asphalt Cement Index Adjustment. Flaggers are also required. See Job Special Provisions. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. Cape Girardeau County notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The bidder will insure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract or any subcontracts. The County of Cape Girardeau reserves the right to select and award the bid to the Bidder(s) whose offer(s) is deemed by the Commission to be in the best interest of the County; accept or reject any or all bids; waive informalities or irregularities.
