All Bidders shall submit in a separate, sealed envelope the Bid Proposal form provided in accordance with the Bid Documents and Contract. The envelopes containing the bids must be sealed, addressed, and designated as bids for the City Hall Tuckpointing and Masonry Repairs Project ; Attn: City Clerk. In general, the project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the tuckpointing and masonry repairs at City Hall (101 Court Street), pursuant to the specifications stated herein The City of Jackson hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this invitation, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, or national origin in consideration of award. The City of Jackson reserves the right to waive any informality, technicalities, and to reject any and all bids. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the Bid Opening. Repair all cracks and open mortarjoints in the masonry facade. Remove all existing mortarjoints as needed and replace with new mortar that matches the existing in color, composition, and tooling style. Thoroughly clean all brick surfaces to remove dirt, efflorescence, and biological growth. Apply a high-quality, breathable water-repellent sealant to all cleaned brick surfaces following mortar curing
