The Plumas County Department of Facility Services and Airports is responsible for maintaining several County owned buildings and Properties throughout Plumas County. This includes, but is not limited to, routine maintenance, HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, yard maintenance, and Capital Improvement Projects. The purpose for this Invitation for Bid is to seek and enter into a contract with a Contractor that holds a California Contractors License C-17 Glazing Contractor issued by the state of California, to supply materials and labor to replace 56 windows at Portola Library at 34 3rd Ave Portola Ca 96122 Windows to be Milgard Style Line V250 Series Black over White, standard Low-E with nail fin. Date: 01/07/2025 Contract start date, pending approval by Board of Supervisors The term of the contract is from the date of approval of Board of Supervisors and ends on June 30, 2025 Plumas County Facility Services & Airports reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive any information, technical defect, or clerical errors in any submittal. This IFB is not an offer to contract. The accepted proposal may become part of the contract agreement for furnishing the services. Services to be provided by the contractor to the Plumas County Facility Services and Airports, and the amounts of the services, shall be as follows: 1. The Contractor shall a. Verify Window Sizes Prior to Ordering b. Remove trim and save c. Cut siding so as to completely remove existing windows including fin and save siding strips for replacement d. Remove and properly dispose of existing windows e. Install New windows with fin, seal and caulk, replace siding strips, trim and caulk trim. f. Clean up and remove all unused material and waste from project g. All work to be done in a safe and workmanlike manner to industry standards h. All work will comply with the California Building and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
