This Request for Proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by Queen's University (Queen's) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for General Contractor Services for Waldron Tower Residence Room Upgrades as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). The Deliverables, i.e. the work under the contract, consists of furnishing all labour, materials, products, equipment, overhead, construction equipment and any other components required for the Work shown, or reasonably inferred, in the drawings, specifications, and other contract documents for the Waldron Tower Residence Room Upgrades. At a high-level, this scope includes, but is not necessarily limited to: - Demolition & disposal of existing spaces as required; - Abatement of materials identified in the Designated Substances Report; - Construction of new bedroom layout(s), complete with millwork, fixtures, and finishes; - Replacing storm, sanitary, and water distribution piping systems; - Upgrading branch wiring; - Upgrading communication cabling; - New lighting & plumbing; - Firestopping as required; and - Additional architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other components.
