This Request for Proposals is an invitation by Queen's University to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Waste and Recycling Collection Services Queen's requires waste and recycling pick-up and disposal services on a recuring and as needed basis. The services will include the provision of front load containers, toters, compactors and roll-off bins. The ideal supplier will also be able to assist Queen's with developing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining a waste diversion strategy. Queen's has approximately 25,000 students, staff and faculty and generates approximately 3500 MT of waste, recyclable materials ("recyclables") and organic waste ("organics") per year. Queen's strives to continuously reduce its environmental footprint and therefore the amount of waste going to landfills. As part of our continued commitment to sustainability, Queen's wishes to partner with a supplier that will share this vision and can assist in achieving this goal.
