The RM will award the tender on or before Friday, December 20, 2024. That unless in themeatime the RM shall have advised the Bidder that its tender has been rejected, the same shall remain firm and open to acceptance by the RM during a period of twenty (20) days following the date fixed for the opening of tenders in respect to such a contract. No payments will commence on or before January 1, 2025. Each Bidder shall identify the gravel source and specify the unit price per cubic yard of measurement for each of the following quantities based on the location to which it will be delivered: 1,500 cubic yards of 3/4 Type 106 (as per Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure Table 4300.3.T1 - Traffic Gravel Properties) road gravel hauled to the NE 15-46A-26 W2 3,500 cubic yards of 3/4 Type 106 (as per Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure Table 4300.3.T1 - Traffic Gravel Properties) road gravel hauled to the NE 32-47-23 W2 and 3,000 cubic yards of 3/4 Type 106 (as per Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure Table 4300.3.T1 - Traffic Gravel Properties) road gravel hauled to RM shop yard located in the Town of Birch Hills, Saskatchewan Commencement of haul to begin when winter weights are in effect and must be completed priorto March 1, 2025, or earlier should spring road bans occur prior to that date. No hauling will take place during spring road bans. Late delivery of the material will be subject to a penalty to the Bidder of $2,500 per day payable to the RM The RM further reserves to itself the right to reject any or all tenders, and/or to waive any minor non-compliance if the RM is of the opinion that it does not result in a Bidder receiving an unfair advantage over another Bidder.
