Site work for a road / highway in Kelso, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Installation and repair of guardrail, guardrail terminals and end treatments on a UNIT PRICE basis for new guardrail installation and damage to guardrail that may occur within the next year, and other work. At the County's sole discretion, the County may extend or renew the UNIT PRICE contract for one additional year by giving the bidder awarded the contract written notice 30 days prior to the contract one-year expiration date. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated m the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Cowlitz County. Cowlitz County will not provide paper copies of the Project bid documents for this project for bidding purposes. A copy of the plans and specifications may be reviewed at the office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners The Board reserves the right, to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding
