Walley School Rehabilitation /Reuse Reference Number 0000368290 Rehabilitation for reuse of the former Walley School to create a Community Resources and Senior Center, located at 260 High Street, Bristol, RI 02809. The scope of work includes limited building envelope restoration, exterior entry repairs, and interior finishes on the first floor and adjacent spaces. This building is a major contributor to a National Historic District and careful attention should be given to protecting and preserving all elements of this building according to the documents. Periodic reviews by HPHC and Local Historic will be performed. The building is currently under construction with numerous Owner subcontractors working off of independent contracts with the Town. This work includes site upgrades, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, communications, exterior doors, elevator installation, etc. The selected contractor shall work harmoniously with these existing contractors to provide the Town with a complete project.
