Bid Information Proposals must be received prior to 1:00 PM (local time) on December 5, 2024 at the Brandon School District Administration Office. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:15 PM in the Brandon School District, Virtual Meeting at Brandon Middle School - ITEC Center at 609 South Ortonville, Ortonville, MI 48462. All bids received after 1:00 PM on the bid date will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Proposals and Award The Project will utilize separate prime contractors. All contracts for construction will be direct contracts with the Owner. Overall administration of the Project will be the responsibility of the Construction Management Firm, Wolgast Corporation. The Owner will award contracts on or about December 16, 2024, to separate prime contractors for separate bid divisions or combinations of bid divisions. All bids shall be submitted on the bid forms provided in the project specifications, completely filled in, and executed (copies of the bid forms are acceptable). Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Plans and Questions All checks and/or money orders are to be made payable to the Brandon School District. Plan deposits are refundable. Plans may be obtained by contacting the Project Administrator, Donna Ratzlaff, at Wolgast Corporation at (989) 921-9749. All questions regarding the bidding procedures, design, and drawing/specification intent are to be directed to the Construction Manager on a Clarification Request Form (Section 00310), attention Christie Bigelow-Huver. Prevailing Wage Rates are Not required Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of 12-5-2024.
