The Office of the Area IV Coordinator, State of California Military Department, located at 1700 E First Street, Pomona, CA 91766, will accept proposals from qualified bidders offering to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the monitoring, quarterly tests, semi-annual services, and annual services of the Fire Detection and Suppression System located at various locations in Southern California. A PERFORMANCE BOND, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount must be submitted by the successful bidder at the time signed contracts are returned to the Military Department if the contract exceeds $10,000.00 and progress payments will be made. A BID BOND, in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount must be submitted by the contractor with the Proposal Form if the contract exceeds $25,000.00 utilizing a bond form provided by the Surety. Contractor is to provide all equipment, materials, and labor for the monitoring, inspection and service of the Fire Detection and Suppression System for a period of three (3) years from December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2027 (36 months) at the Area 5 facilities located as follows: o San Diego FMS 17 National Guard Vehicle Maintenance Shop - 3171 Armstrong St., San Diego, CA 92111 o San Bernardino Reserve Center - 296 E. 3rd St., San Bernardino, CA 92410 o National City National Guard Readiness Center - 303 Palm Ave., National City, CA 91950 o Escondido National Guard Readiness Center - 304 E. Park Ave., Escondido, CA 92025 o San Diego National Guard Readiness Center - Building TBD, 7401 Mesa College Drive, San Diego, CA 92111 Possess a type C-10 Electrical Contractor License or subcontract to one. Contractor will be allowed 1094 Calendar Days to complete this project. A certified Small Business (SB) shall receive a 5% preference on a bid proposal when a responsible non-small business has submitted the lowest priced responsive bid. A certified Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) shall receive a 5% incentive on a bid proposal when a responsible non-DVBE has submitted the lowest priced responsive bid.
