Site work and paving for a civil project in Pender, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Project Location: The Project Site is located approximately 5 miles west and 0.5 miles north of the village of Thurston. On County Road 12, approximately 1,500 feet north of H Avenue, in Thurston County, Nebraska. Project Description & Scope: Construction of a 1-span 50'-0" steel girder bridge on a 10-degree skew with a triple 12'x12'x45' concrete box culvert alternate. Work includes site preparation, earthwork, bridge (or box) construction, guardrail installation, erosion control, and other incidental work. Selected bidder shall furnish necessary equipment, transportation, labor, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work as per the Contract Documents. Each bidder will be required to submit bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the Treasurer of Thurston County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the accompanied bid proposal. The bidder shall include with its bid proposal an estimated start date and completion date for all work on the project. The Contractor will be allowed eighty (80) calendar days for project completion. The desired completion date of the project is October 3, 2025. Thurston County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
