Select demolition activities at the existing wastewater treatment plant that include components of the influent channel, raw sewage pump station, final clarifier, site piping, site concrete, miscellaneous mechanical and electrical equipment, and site modifications. 2. Construction activities include providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and testing for the installation and/or construction of the following improvements: a. Influent Channel: Structural influent channel modifications and installation of pen channel grinder and associated mechanical, electrical, and controls components. b. Raw Sewage Pump Station: Removal and replacement of existing raw wastewater pumps. Replacement of piping and valves. Newsludge pump, piping, and valves. Installation of flow meters. All associated mechanical, electrical, and controls components. c. Aeration Basins: Construction of cast-in-place concrete effluent structures and associated piping and appurtenances. d. Aerobic Digester Basin: Installation of waste activated sludge (WAS) piping connection. e. Site Piping: Installation of clarifier influent, clarifier effluent, RAS/WAS piping, scum piping, air piping, and water service piping. f. Final Clarifiers: Construction of two new final clarifiers including cast-in-place concrete basins, clarifier equipment, influent, effluent, return activated sludge (RAS), and scum piping, connections to and inside of existing structures, and any other associated piping, valves, electrical, and controls. g. All work complete with connections to existing structures, sidewalks or paved roadways, site grading, erosion control, seeding, site piping, buriedvalves, mechanical, electrical, and controls components, demolition and modification, and other items of miscellaneous work which are either shown on the plans or described in the construction documents. 3. Project work shall include all required spare parts as listed in the specifications. 4. SWPPP and other Permitting Implementation.
