The City of Orlando seeks bids to provide watering of public trees. Contractors will be expected to furnish all necessary equipment to perform watering. The City of Orlando requests bids for tree watering. for various projects and initiatives around the City. Tree sizes will range from 15 gallon 1" caliper minimum, to 100 gallon 5" caliper maximum. Additional sizes may be requested. This Contract may be awarded to multiple Contractors. Tree Types The types of tree and quantities will vary, according to project scope Locations The locations for services will be inside the City of Orlando's municipal borders, including, but not limited to, right of ways, medians and private residential properties, City Parks, and other areas considered as required. Watering schedule trees will be watered with 5 gallons minimum, for every oneinch of trunk diameter, for up to 12 months from the date of installation, as follows: (Watering frequency requirements, beginning with a newly planted tree - month 1, through month 12) 1. From month 1 through month 2: Daily watering is required 2. From month 3 through month 6: Watering is required 3 times per week 3. From month 7 through month 10: Watering is required 2 times per week 4. From month 11 through month 12: Watering is required 1 time per week B. Additional watering may be required, on an as needed basis. (The City may request watering beyond the 12 month schedule, on an as-needed basis) CONTRACT TERM It is the intent of the City to award a Contract for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the City. The Contract may, by mutual assent of the parties, be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of sixty (60) months.
