The purpose of this Bid is to establish a contract to provide firm pricing for Bermuda athletic turf maintenance, fertilization, pest control, mowing, and reconstruction for The School Board of Orange County, Florida on an as-needed basis. Contractor's Experience: The Contractor must be regularly engaged in the business for services as noted herein, must be a Certified Sports Field Manager or have one on staff, have sports turf contractual experience with a minimum of 7,000,000 square feet of Bermuda Turf care experience, including maintaining and providing quality Bermuda turf athletic field services for high school turf conditions as described herein. Licenses & Certifications: The below list of licenses and certifications are required: o Ornamental and Turf license o CPO (Certified Pest Control Operator) from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Bureau of Entomology & Pest Control o Certified Sports Field Manager on staff o A Current Occupational license This license must be valid at the time of the Bid opening and remain valid continuously throughout the term of the Contract. A legible copy may be included with this Bid submittal. Failure to submit the State license and certification with the Bid, or within forty-eight (48) hours of request shall result in your Bid being marked non-responsive. Length of Contract and Renewals: This Bid intends to establish a contract for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of the award by the OCPS School Board with two (2) additional oneyear renewal options at the same prices, terms, conditions, and specifications upon mutual agreement by OCPS and the Contractor.
