HSIP CYCLE 11 - H11-03-019 The City of Rancho Cordova, Department of Public Works, is seeking the submission of bids from qualified contractors (General Engineering Contractor, Class A, with the appropriate subcontractor for the supplemental work not defined in their classification). The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for the School Crossing Improvements Project. Items of work include solar powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), thermoplastic pavement markings, concrete curb, gutter and ramps. Sidewalk and sidewalk ramp improvements are to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title 24 and City of Rancho Cordova standards as provided in these specifications. Pursuant to California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the City of Rancho Cordova to ensure performance under this contract. The award of the contract, if it be awarded, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose bid complies with all the requirements prescribed. The lowest bid will be determined based on base bid. The City of Rancho Cordova reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in their judgment, are the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder.
