Bids For Shear Rd Restoration Project Jefferson Township, Fayette County, PA The Jefferson Township Supervisors are looking for bids to reconstruct and restore Shear Rd. which is a dirt and gravel road approx. 1100' long and 16' wide, will require regrading, new gravel, and A drainage ditch will need to be placed on the top side of the road as well as a catch basin and new pipe under the road at the bottom end. Bidder will be responsible for all materials and labor. The apparent low bidder shale be awarded the project with an estimated start date of April 2025. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Jefferson Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract as awarded will be required as security for faithful performance of the contract. Proposals must be submitted on the forms prescribed. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
