Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Chatsworth, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Construction includes removal and complete replacement of the Dennis Mill Road at Rock Creek bridge in Murray County. The work will include the construction and installation of a 90 ft x 20ft, weathering steel, prefabricated bridge. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation's (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition; GDOT's Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2024; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions. Question Deadline 12/05/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Project work will be required to begin within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete within 300 calendar days. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection. Contractor to provide, purchase and install a new 90ft x 20ft, weathering steel vehicular bridge as specified in the Bid Documents and Construction Plans, including but not limited to final order coordination, purchase of semiprefabricated bridge, delivery coordination, assembly and installation of bridge, and bridge deck asphalt paving. Grading, Repair and Replacement of roadway approaches and shoulders as shown in the plans that includes both full depth asphalt paving and overlay areas.
