PROJECT # PW-2026-LMIG-CITY Construction includes milling, asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling and striping on up to 1.3 miles of road including Lakeshore Dr., 4th Ave. (from Market St. to Chestnut St.), Elm St. (from 2nd Ave to 6th Ave), and Pine St. (from 2nd Ave to 3rd Ave & from 5th Ave to 6th Ave) The project will be funded with 2026 LMIG and city funds. Construction includes milling, asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling and striping on up to 1.3 miles of road including Lakeshore Dr., 4th Ave. (from Market St. to Chestnut St.), Elm St. (from 2nd Ave to 6th Ave), and Pine St. (from 2nd Ave to 3rd Ave & from 5th Ave to 6th Ave). The work will approximately be 16375 SY of resurfacing around 1480 tons of asphalt. Paint and striping replacement. All work shall conform to the (GDOT) standards and other contract requirements and/or specifications. Project work will be required to begin within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete within 180 calendar days. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection. Eligible bidders and subcontractors shall satisfy all applicable licensure requirements for Contractors performing work in the State of Georgia and must meet all applicable insurance and bonding requirements as stipulated in the separate Instructions to Bidders and Contract Documents Request for any questions regarding the project should be emailed to Jtanksley@chatsworthga.gov. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted as a result of this invitation must include the "Bid Sheet" to be considered along with all required documents and be returned in a sealed envelope or container marked, "SEALED BID for 2026 LMIG Citywide Paving Project" on the outside. Bids may not be considered unless so received.
