This project is for the 2026 LMIG Countywide Paving Project, which involves repaving and overlay of more than 37.549 miles of Murray County roadways. The construction includes asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling, and restriping on up to 37.549 miles of specified roads. The work will include approximately 487,916 square yards of resurfacing with limited leveling using 45,000 tons of asphalt and up to 16,669 tons of leveling. Additional requirements include paint striping/marking replacement and manhole/valve box adjustments for all pavement overlay areas, as well as traffic control on roadways and at railroad crossings involving railroad flaggers. All work must conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation's Standard Specifications for Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition, and all applicable GDOT standards, details, and contract requirements, specifications, and general conditions.
