General bid: General Building Construction The City of Boston acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Public Facilities Department (PFD), 2 Center Plaza Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108 hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the PFD - Animal Shelter HVAC - 26 Mahler Road project. The scope of work includes replace HVAC (utilizing gas-waiver), exterior painting and some building repairs to the Boston Animal Shelter facility and is further detailed Deadline for questions: January 29, 2025, at 2 p.m., all questions must be submitted in writing directly to bid.info@boston.gov. General Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work noted below), and DCAMM Update Statement. *All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Expected contract duration is 260 Days. Prevailing wages shall apply.
