This is a Working P+t (Price + Time) Project. The Department Will Not Hold Retention on This Project. Per Utah State Code 13-8-5 (1) Prime Contractors Cannot Hold Retention. Refer to Utah Code 13-8-5 (1) for More Information. DBE Goal:5.00% Wage Rates: Apply Engineer's Estimate: Greater than $4M but less than or equal $6M Mandatory Prequalification Required (Qualified Health Insurance Required) Each Bidder Must Submit an Electronic Bid Bond From an Approved Surety Company Through the Appropriate Clearinghouse, as Defined in the Udot E-bidding Guide, Using Udot's Bidding Business System or in Lieu Thereof, Cash, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check for Not Less Than 5% of the Total Amount of the Bid, Made Payable to the Utah Department of Transportation, Showing Evidence of Good Faith and a Guarantee That if Awarded the Contract, the Bidder Will Execute the Contract and Furnish the Contract Bonds as Required. The Right to Reject Any or All Bids is Reserved. As required, a contractor's license must be obtained from the Utah Department of Commerce to work on UDOT projects as defined from the Division of Professional Licensing. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to submitting a bid, the bidder must have on file with the Utah Department of Transportation a completed and approved contractor's application for prequalification. Department processing time is 20 working days from receipt of properly executed documentation.
