The work for which bids are invited consists of: Selective renovations/upgrades to the Senior Lounge and Teen Lounge areas of the existing Community Center. The Teen Lounge will also involve the installation of a small addition. All work will take place in and around the fully functioning Community Center. The cost estimate for the Project is $1,900,000.00. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner is requesting that as part of your bid submission that each firm provide a high level Project Schedule that shows the planned work activities and when each space (Teen Lounge and Senior Center) can reach its Substantial Completion milestone. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project.
