Remodeling of an educational facility in Orem, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
As of January 22, 2025 the project has not been awarded yet. The timeline for award has not yet been established. The existing house located at the address given above will have the existing interior spaces fully demolished. New interior office spaces, classroom, team rooms, restrooms, prep-kitchen, banquet, storage, stairs and mechanical rooms will be provided. The project will also include the installation of a new elevator. Construction will consist of new metal and wood stud framing, gypsum board, doors and frames, ceiling systems, flooring, structural improvements, mechanical improvements, plumbing improvements and electrical improvements. An electronic copy of a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, made payable to Utah Valley University on AIA's bid bond form A310-2010, must be uploaded and attached to your bid response. If the bid bond is not furnished with the bid, the bid will be considered non-responsive The awarded contractor, simultaneously with the execution of the Contractor's Agreement, will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on AIA bond form. A full 100% Performance Bond covering the faithful execution of the contract. - A full 100% Payment Bond covering all obligations arising thereunder. If a violation of this provision occurs, the University reserves the right to reject the bidder's submission.
