*As of April 01, 2025, this Bid Release have been awarded. Construction is scheduled to start in May 2025, and is expected to be completed in August 2025. 2025 Capital Projects BID RELEASE #2 - Fire Suppression System - Fire Suppression System for Wauconda Grade School. Question Deadline 11/29/2024 Questions should be addressed in writing via email to IHC Construction Companies, LLC; Attn: Diane Papenhause, dpapenhause@ihcconstruction.com and Emma Siragusa, esiragusa@ihcconstruction.com. Questions submitted less than one week prior to the bid opening cannot be considered. Successful bidders will be required to furnish 100% Performance and Payment bonds to Wauconda CUSD 118 and include a Dual Obligee Rider adding IHC Construction Companies, LLC. The cost of the performance and payment bond will be included in each bidder proposal. Bid security, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount, shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education, Wauconda Community Unit School District 118. Submit all questions, in writing, regarding the Bidding Documents to the Construction Manager. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. Questions received less than five days before the bid opening date cannot be answered.
