The scope of work to be performed includes the construction of a 150,000 gallon welded steel elevated storage tank, all ancillary site and utility extensions and demolition of the existing 100,000 steel elevated storage tank. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. This project is partially funded through the Ohio Department of Development, Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Grant Program. Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the project documents, including the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis Bacon Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, and equal opportunity provisions and for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid that it deems most favorable.
