Kessler Septic Replacement Kessler Scope of Work: "The proposed sewage treatment system shall consist of a new 2,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank with effluent filter followed by a new 1,000-gallon dose tank comprised of dose/float settings, an effluent pump, a quick disconnect, and an audio/visual control and alarm panel. The tanks will be connected to four chamber leach line trenches each 160' long, 2' wide, and a maximum 3" deep with a centrally located distribution box. The leach field will require at least 11" of topsoil cover above grade and will be located north of the house. The system must be installed in accordance with the approved design. The existing septic tank must be properly pumped and abandoned. The yard will be returned to final grading with level ground and seeding, no fill will be provided for settling. The awarded contractor will be required to pay the $424.00 septic replacement permit fee to Hancock Public Health."
