The County of Santa Barbara (County) Planning & Development Department (P&D) seeks proposals from qualified Architectural Consultants for on-call architectural design review services. The architectural consultants will be responsible for providing architectural design reviews for multi-family residential and mixed-use projects. The County’s regulations and objective design standards will serve as the basis for the architectural review. The architectural Consultant(s) will work with staff to determine compliance with the County’s objective design standards. All finalists may be required to participate in negotiations and submit such price, technical, or other revisions of their proposals as may result from negotiations. The County also reserves the right to award the contract without oral briefings or discussion, based upon the initial written proposals. Accordingly, each initial proposal should be submitted on the most favorable terms from a price and a technical viewpoint.
