Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Scope includes but is not limited to: Provide Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) fan coil units and associated outdoor condensing unit CU-1, refrigerant piping and controls for rooms 159,161, 163, 173, and 175B. Provide engineered supports and anchors. Provide Mitsubishi multi-city fan coil units and associated, controls, power supply and disconnect, refrigerant piping, condensate drain piping, insulation, supports and anchors. Provide Mitsubishi 'City Multi' variable refrigerant flow zoning system (VRF) Y Series outdoor condensing unit (CU-1 and CU-2). Estimated construction cost: $375,000.00. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: "B" - General Building AND "C-20" Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractors License Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Bidder may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage at the location of the work.
