Site work for a water / sewer project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 2,700 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron water main along with valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Work includes jacking and boring a 36-inch steel casing under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railyard. All new pipe and fittings to be installed with restrained joints. All Work shall be completed as shown on the Plans and as specified herein. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 65 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
