Rutherford County will accept bids on the Landfill Road - Full Depth Reclamation Project - Rutherford County, TN. Work will include: Preparation of an existing section of Landfill Road, approximately 4,000-feet in length and 28-feet wide to be a reclaimed subbase course composed of a mixture of the existing asphalt pavement, any underlying granular material, and underlying subgrade. The manufacture of the reclaimed subbase course shall be done by in-place pulverizing and blending of the existing asphalt material and any underlying granular material, thus creating a homogeneous mixture of reclaimed subbase material. This process is known as full depth reclamation. The work shall also consist of shaping, finishing, fine grading, and compaction of the reclaimed subbase material. The entire process shall be accomplished in accordance with TDOT special provisions and specifications, which will also conform to the specified grades and cross-sections as directed by the Rutherford County Highway Superintendent. The existing roadway shall be reclaimed to a depth of twelve (12) inches from the top of the existing pavement surface, unless otherwise specified. If necessary, bids will be taken under advisement and awarded at 4:30 P.M. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the meeting of the Rutherford County Purchasing Committee. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. All bidders shall comply with the Tennessee Contractor' License law Section 62-6-119 (Bid documents - Required disclosure by bidders) when submitting bids.
