**The Contract Price of the awarded Contract is $2,774,775.50, based on the bid submitted on December 19. Alternate A at $244,645.50 The City of Murfreesboro is accepting sealed bids for Patterson Park Playground, Splashpad, and Parking Lot Expansion. Part one of the project consists of construction of two new asphalt parking lots (approx. square footage: 27,600). Parking lot construction includes: demolition, excavation, grading, compaction of subgrade, placement of base stone, binder and asphalt pavement, concrete curbing, striping, curbs cuts, two stormwater infiltration basins, adjacent sidewalk required, sidewalk ADA ramps, cross-walks, site lighting, erosion control, and site restoration. An alternative bid is also requested for base repairs in the existing access drive and parking lot (approx. square footage: 3,350), a 1.5" mill and overlay of the existing access drive and parking lot (approx. square footage:_72,700), and demolition of existing asphalt and installation of 8" concrete pavement adjacent to garbage dumpster (approx. square footage:_3,100), including necessary concrete curbing.
