In its sole discretion, the City reserves the right to either consider or reject any bid which takes exception to the specifications or attached contract. The Project consists of roadway improvements at the intersection of Burnt Knob Road/Manson Pike and Blackman Road. Improvements include the widening of Burnt Knob Road starting from approx. 1200' west of the intersection, the widening of Manson Pike to approx. 1400' east of the intersection, and the widening of Blackman Road from approx. 1200' south of the intersection to approx. 1300' north of the intersection. A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection. Construction will consist of grading, drainage, curb and gutter, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, pavement marking and signing, and other related roadway appurtenances.
