INTRODUCTION The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WSP intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award purchase orders for WSP to purchase moveable and modular storage shelving for weapons, weapon accessories and ammunition for our crime lab located in Vancouver, Washington. This has been estimated to be valued at less than $150,000. Because it is estimated to be less than $150,000, the agency intends to award the contract for each location to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from a small business (as defined in RCW 39.26.010(22)(a)) or Washington veteran-owned business (as certified with the WDVA), unless none of these businesses are responsible and responsive to this solicitation. Scope of work for the Vancouver Crime Lab evidence storage room will be as follows: Our intent is to have an adaptable storage space that will be easily accessible, providing low maintenance organization with room for growth. We would like the shelving and storage design proposal to hold about 2000 firearms with a breakdown of 25% long gun and 75% handgun. We would like to include a worktable, ideally 6 feet along the left side wall, 4 feet along the back wall and roughly 32 inches in depth. The evidence room measurements will be attached as Exhibit G. Total uniform weight of the storage system will need to follow the structural recommendations set forth in Exhibit F. We are requiring this scope to include removal and disposal of the existing wall shelving unit Deadline for Submitting Questions: December 13th, 2024. Anticipated Deadline for Answers: December 20th, 2024. Anticipated Award of Contract: January 22nd, 2025. Project Install Completion Deadline: June 30th, 2025 . CONTRACT TERM. As set forth in the attached Contract for this Competitive Solicitation, the contract term requires all the work must complete by June 30, 2025. Bidders are to specify prices for the contract term. The Contract is subject to earlier termination.
