**As of September 05, 2025, the project was awarded to Halme Excavating Inc, with an awarded amount of $1,117,708.59.** The Contractor Shall Furnish and Install Approximately 3,018 Linear Feet of 8-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, 70 Lf of 6-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, 30 Linear Feet of 4-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, Fire Hydrants, and Other Appurtenances as Shown on the Plans and Specified Herein. The Contractor Shall Also Furnish and Install Approximately 400 Lineal Feet of 8-inch C900 and 362 Lineal Feet of 8-inch Pvc Gravity Sewer Main. The Sewer Will Be Installed Within the Existing City of Vancouver Right-of-way, Including All Laterals, Manholes, and All Appurtenances as Shown on the Plans and Specified Herein. The Contractor Shall Restore the Existing Pavement Where Trenching Takes Place as Specified Herein, and Grind and Replace the Existing Pavement Outside of the Trench Areas Where Shown on the Plans and Specified Herein. This Project Was Previously Bid in December of 2024 but Withdrawn Prior to Award Due to Concerns Over Ground Water in This Area. The Plans Have Been Revised to Install the Northern Portion of the Sanitary Sewer as C900 Pipe Allowing for Less Cover and the Sewer to Be Installed Shallower. With These Adjustments the Contractor is Still Encouraged to Perform the Northern Portion of the Sewer Work in Late August or September and Complete It Prior to the Beginning of October to Minimize the Possibility of Encountering Ground Water. The Contract Work Shall Be Physically Complete Within 70 Working Days From the Notice to Proceed.
