Reference Number 0000282434 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/12/02 03:00:00 PM EST York is seeking one (1) qualified Proponent for the supply and delivery of vacuum pumping equipment York University. The departments of Physics and Astronomy, Faculty of Science perform atomic physics experiments. Our experiments are done in ultra-high vacuum conditions. Residual gas in the apparatus must be extremely low and are free of oil contamination. We have immediate need for vacuum pumps including two (2) large turbo molecular pumps with appropriate gate valves and five (5) mechanical forepumps. Required peripheries should also be included: including control power supplies, interconnecting cables, cooling fans, mounts, and solenoid air valves. Commercial General Liability Insurance against third party bodily injury (including death), personal injury and broad form property damage (including loss of use) and including products and completed operations liability and blanket contractual liability for an amount of not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence. Such insurance shall include a cross liability and severability of interests clause and an endorsement naming York University, its governors, trustees, officers and employees as an Additional Insured; Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
